One thing is clear: none of us know everything. I have made wonderful connections with fellow humans on this planet who know far more than I do about a variety of different topics. I highly recommend you check them out if you are searching for information.
General Resources
Gentle Start Studio – Marly Stasi is not only a trained sleep expert, but one of my favorite humans. If you are struggling with your child’s sleep and need support, Marly is my go-to person.
Schools
Downstream Partners – GG Johnston is a master of bringing school leaders and school communities together to build alignment, communication, and connection. She and her team offer a way for school leaders to guide their teams with humility and effectiveness, helping to eliminate the drama and replace it with vulnerability, grace, and honesty. She uses a variety of tools to help teams understand one another and themselves.
In 2015, as I was setting up my toddler classroom, one of my Montessori “sisters” recommended MVita.net. Although I am no longer in that classroom, I still see many of those materials in use today by the current teaching team. Xia Li, the founder of MVita has Montessori certifications in 0-6 years and has thoughtfully designed her materials to adhere to the curriculum and the beauty of a Montessori classroom. I have had the great pleasure of connecting with her and guiding the creation of beautiful classrooms with teaching teams using her materials.
For Locals
Denver-area resources
Colorado Center for Pediatric Learning and Development – While I’m sure that all of CCPLD’s therapists are fantastic, I have worked with Lynda Thill for years and can only sing praises on her approach, respect for the child, intelligence, and professionalism
Eden Tree Counseling – DeAnna is a master at playing, intuiting needs, and thinking deeply with families about their child’s well-being. She has worked with all populations of families, including teen parents, neurodiverse families, couples, etc. She is licensed in Colorado and Hawaii.
Jen Manning has a wonderful ability to create safe and fun social groups with young children. She is also a licensed therapist in Colorado for more individualized sessions with children and adults.
I know Don Murray because of his work through WellPower, as an ECE Mental Health Consultant in the school setting. He guided teachers with group dynamics, supported families, and connected with school leaders.
