In my work with families, I offer  the flexibility of choice, so that each family can determine what might work best for them.  It is important to note that each session will be followed up with an email about what was discussed and additional resources, when applicable.

My coaching work is highly individualized to each family.  It also requires reciprocal work on the part of the family.  I create a collaborative process unique to your family and with the intention that I will no longer be needed at some point.

Fundamental to my approach is that I do not judge any family; parent or child.  I recognize that we are all fallible and human, and that often we need support.  The fact that your family is seeking guidance, in my mind, is a quality that deserves respect, not judgment.  My work is to get curious and think collaboratively and deeply with you, so that the challenges of parenting and family life can be eased; so that everyone in the family can feel both joyful and successful (most of the time).  However desired, immediate change is rarely possible, but I will offer your family support, resources, and guidance throughout your unique journey.  The rest is up to you!

Note: I am not a licensed counselor or mental health professional.  I focus on techniques and methods that can support the needs of the family as a unit and, while our work together can be healing, my purpose is not to diagnose, treat, or offer therapy.

You are not alone.

I am a mom of an autistic human who also has pathological demand avoidance, significant dyslexia, ADHD, and aphantasia.  I have learned more from our journey together than from any other person or class in my life.  I have also educated myself on many strategies, techniques, and resources have helped families, educators, and schools over the years. In addition to this, I am pursuing my MA in Early Childhood Special Education, so that I can continue grounding my work in evidence-based methodologies while continuing to approach children who have differences with empathy, humor, and groundedness.

While I will never pretend to have all of the answers, it is my absolute joy to support families who have children with beautiful, different brains.  I am not a BCBA or RBT, nor do I conduct therapy with children on the autism spectrum.  What I do offer, however, is guidance on how to support parents and caregivers in approaching their individual children in ways that can ease the stress of the family, including the child.

Reach out and let’s see if we might make a good team to help your family find the joy in this moment.

When our daughter got diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, my husband and I didn’t know what the next steps were to support her better. Courtney was so kind in helping us navigate our daughter’s diagnosis. Through Courtney’s knowledge and years of experience, we learned so much! She was so patient with all of our questions. She really took the time to explain the different resources we could utilize and never rushed us. We are eternally thankful to Courtney for guiding us!” ~Darienne & Alex

Preparing your home environment for a new or growing family can be overwhelming to say the least.  There are a multitude of products out there without much guidance on what is needed for babies and children and what we assume we need because everyone has one.

My work with families is to take a look at your home environment and think through how you want to form this new space to incorporate children (or more children) and their development.  We think about possibilities that already exist in your home as well as what might be useful for the future.

Many clients have used this service for first babies, second, and more!

Each home visit consultation is followed by an individualized report that offers resources and recommendations for your unique home and family situation.

Home consultations: $200 for a 1-2 hour visit.
In-person (Denver area) and virtual consultations available.

Thank you so much for all of this amazing content!! The detail is incredible, and we’re very grateful for your thoughts on how we can continue a Montessori-like environment for our girls at home! The space and inspiration ideas are so fun, and we are excited to bring these ideas into our home! We are looking forward to digging into the resources you provided and have already begun discussing plans to transform our spaces. We also wanted to let you know that we took your advice on changing the bedtime routine and have already found success. This has been an awesome change that is working really well for us, so thank you again for those thoughts.”
